National Cancer Institute (NCI) Center for Biomedical Informatics and Information Technology (CBIIT) will use this OID to represent and identify the objects used within the Clinical Connector Interface. The Clinical Connector Interface uses the ISO 21090 data types to represent clinical data. OIDs under this sub-tree will be used as root values for ISO 21090 data types. The OIDs and the objects they identify will be documented in the interface specifications for the Clinical Connector. The Clinical Connector is part of the caBIG Integration Hub project within caBIG Clinical Trials Suite and it provides a generic BRIDG-based interface to integrate with CDMS such as Medidata, or OpenClinica.
