At its plenary meeting on 1 March 2024, ITU-T Study Group 17 noted that, according to an agreement between the CONseil NAtional des TÉLécommunications (CONATEL) (Administration representing Haïti in the ITU) and the Bureau Haïtien de la Normalisation (BHN) (organization representing Haïti in ISO), CONATEL is the registration authority for the country OID of Haïti. This was further noted by ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 6 at its plenary meeting on 11 Oct 2024.
