The VANguard Program is an Australian Government initiative to provide validation, authentication and notary services to facilitate online business with government agencies. The Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research began implementing the program in July 2006.
Child OIDs will be registered internally by staff within the VANguard Branch, Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research. OID will be allocated for purposes associated with providing or consuming validation, authentication and notary services.
