Information:
OIDs can be included in alerting messages using OID {joint iso-itu-t(2) alerting(49) wmo(0) message(1) country(n)}, where n is the numeric country code allocated by the United Nations Statistics Division and country is the ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 code. Assignment of this OID is automatic upon designation of an initial editor of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) Register of Alerting Authorities.
