From Elmer J. McDowell, Sean Turner, Christopher Bonatti (17 Sep 2003), "To the best of our recollection, no specific action was taken to register this OID by the group developing Rec. ITU-T X.841. We believed that registration would follow routinely on the official issuance of the number to us. All interested parties departed the group after completion of the Final Draft International Standard (FDIS) and apparently there was no follow-up."
This omission was corrected in document "COM 17-TD 3191 Rev. 1".
