DESCRIPTION
"The value of this object indicates how this
physical port is used to build an interface (the
interface identifiers are set by the equipment) :
unUsed : this physical port is not used,
ethernetAui : this physical port will support
an ethernet interface with the same
identifier (AUI connector for 10 base 5
ethernet),
ethernet10baseT : this physical port will
support an ethernet interface with the
same identifier (RJ 45 connector for 10
base T ethernet),
ethernetAuto : this physical port will support
an ethernet interface with the same
identifier (automatic detection between 10
base 5 and 10 base T),
line : this physical port will support a serial
line interface with the same identifier
(the characteristics of this serial line
interface are described in fcfLineTable),
isdnBChannel : this physical port will support
a B-channel of an ISDN Basic Rate
Interface,
isdnDChannel : this physical port will support
a D-channel of an ISDN Basic Rate
Interface with the same identifier (the
characteristics of this ISDN BRI are
described in
fcfIsdnBasicRateInterfaceTable).
