OID description

OID: (ASN.1 notation)
(dot notation)
(OID-IRI notation)

Description:

rtpEvtTraps OBJECT-IDENTITY
STATUS current
DESCRIPTION
"The rtpEvtTraps are sent as generic and/or specific
traps to different management stations.
Specific traps can be received only by management
stations which have defined their own event filter
(see 'rtpEvtFilterTable').
In general generic traps are sent to all stations
configured in the '/etc/snmp/agt/snmpd.cnf' file.
This behaviour can be controlled by the following
configuration parameter:
Rtp/Adm/eventMgmt/impl/snmp/sendGenericTrap
(default value: RtpTrue)
Set this parameter to 'RtpFalse' to prohibit that
generic 'rtpEvtTraps' are sent to configured stations
as described above.
(This parameter is visible to RTP customers)"
