OID: (ASN.1 notation)

(OID-IRI notation)

Description:

coDot11PrivacyInvoked OBJECT-TYPE
SYNTAX TruthValue
MAX-ACCESS read-only
STATUS current
DESCRIPTION "When this attribute is TRUE, it indicates that some level
of security is invoked for transmitting frames of type Data.
For IEEE 802.11-1999 clients, the security mechanism used is
WEP. For RSNA-capable clients, an additional variable
coDot11RSNAEnabled indicates whether RSNA is enabled. If
coDot11RSNAEnabled is FALSE or the MIB variable does not exist,
the security mechanism invoked is WEP; if coDot11RSNAEnabled is
TRUE, RSNA security mechanisms invoked are configured in the
coDot11RSNAConfigTable. The default value of this attribute
is FALSE."
