"The version of the protocol used on this
channel. The format used for version numbering depends
on prtChannelType.
Refer to Standard Printer MIB for more details.
Additional information:
This object, in conjunction with prtChannelType,
replaces the PML object PORTn-DESCRIPTION.
IIO-based channels provide their own values.
The channel 1 value includes (separated by semi colons)
different aspectsof the spec: electrical: logical; and
physical connector."
