The method of assessment is used in the submission of Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs) and Suspected Unexpected Serious Adverse Reactions (SUSARs) using ISO 27953-2:2011. This value is used in combination with its OID to identify causality assessment of suspect drugs and reported events/reactions that have used the European Union (EU) method described in the EU ICSR implementation guide.
