### Description

```asn1
adsConfigDnsEvPatterns OBJECT-TYPE
SYNTAX DisplayString
ACCESS read-write
STATUS mandatory
DESCRIPTION
"&<caiAdsA2.197>A list of patterns, each of which is compared to match an Event Log entry, that occurred since the last poll. The patterns must be separated by a pipe sign. A match is reported, if any of the patterns matches. The syntax of each pattern is Log/Source/Id/Type/Message. Each component in a pattern can be a regular expression. For example the pattern 'System/Unicenter/.*/Error/.*' matches all Error event log entries of the source Unicenter in the System Log. The missing of a regular expression is treated as any string (.*), for example 'System/Unicenter//Error/'. If a regular expression itself contains any of the two used delimiters (/ or |), each occurrence of this character must be put between [] in the regular expression."
